Ein substanzvoller Labrador mit den typischen Charaktereigenschaften und Arbeitsfreude, dabei ausgeglichenem Temperament und natürlich sehr guter Gesundheit.

Unser kleiner Kennel besteht mittlerweile seit mehr als 10 Jahren. Wir genießen einen  sehr guten Ruf in Deutschland und Europa, nicht zuletzt wegen unserer  überdurchschnittlich guten Gesundheitsergebnisse. Fast alle unserer  TIVERTON Welpen sind auf Hüftdisplasie und Ellenbogendisplasie geröntgt worden.  

Aber natürlich züchten wir auch einen wunderschönen, typvollen Labrador. Wir bevorzugen den alten englischen Typ, etwas kleiner und kompakter mit dem typischen, labradoreigenen, freundlichen und sehr anpassungsfähigem Wesen.

Unsere Hündinnen leben selbstverständlich bei uns im Haus als geliebte Familienpartner.  Unsere Welpen werden  nach den strengen Auflagen des  LABRADOR CLUB DEUTSCHLAND /VDH/FCI gezüchtet, im Haus geboren, aufgezogen und mit viel Liebe auf ein Leben als Familienpartner vorbereitet. Bleibender Kontakt zu  unserer Welpenkäufern besitzt für uns hohe Priorität. Unsere Hündinnen erfüllen den hohen Standard der deutschen  VDH /LCD Anforderungen an Zuchthunde wie z.B. Hüft-und Ellbogendysplasieuntersuchung, jährliche Augenzertifikate sowie Wesenstest nach

Schweizer Muster.

TIVERTON - what are we breeding for?

Our small kennel Tiverton now exists for more than10 years. Our, at present three Labrador girls  live in the house with us as full family companions and acompay us wherever we go. This year, we had alltogether our 7. th litter in the fourth generation of TIVERTON.

Our Kennel is well known in Germany, especially for extraordinary good health results. Nearly all of our, now 52 puppies are x-rayed and scored for Hip and Elbow dyspalsia and also passed an eye test.  But of course we also breed for a good type and we are successfully visiting international FCI dogshows allover in Europe.

We prefer the old english type, a smaller and compacter Labrador with the typical and wonderful character , a calm and adaptable temperament and of course a very good health.

Our puppies are bred under the strict regulations of the FCI, the European Kennel Club association and our breeding dogs  ( only one at present) fulfill the high breeding standard requirement of the German Kennel Club. (VDH) This means the girls are  tested for HD, ED and Eye problems and they also passed a character test after the Swiss scheme. They  have got  official working gundog certificates as well. Also, we ourselves as Kennel Club registered breeders are very strictly controlled by the German Kennel Club. For example, we are only allowed breeding four litters out of one bitch ( we usually  only do  two or three in a lifetime of  our girls anyway, we find, this is enough)  and only one litter is allowed in a 12 month period of time.   

For TIVERTON,  breeding is a passion not a business !!!!

Our puppies are born  and growing up in the house , in a familiar atmosphere which is supposed to prepare them for a life as a most loved family companion. ( Have a look over the " G_Wurf and F-Wurf " Sites, both show the fascilities and the way our puppies start into their life!!)  We offer a long lasting contact to our puppy new owners over several years, to help with all upcoming questions concerning the puppies and their education .
